Ephesos: In the proximity of Kusadasi you can hit presumably one of the climaxes of your Turkey vacation. The visit of Efes or also named as Ephesos and Ephesus will leave even the archaeologically Not Interested ones without the language. At no other place does one hit so much places, buildings, and infinitely tall column and splendor streets. Even the layman is impressed from this ancient place. (Secret tip!) Enormous efforts and investments are still carried out today, around this „wonderworld" to restore to the antiquity and to reconstruct. Ephesos is also a center of the first christianity. The letter of the apostle  Paulus for the Epheser was handed down here. Also the mother Maria is supposed to have lived here.
