Aspendos: The city  of Aspendos was settled in the 12. Century. B.C. and was an important center of commerce for the Romans. The theater is especially worth seeing as it dates back to the  time of Marc Aurelse (161 - 180 A.C.) It is one of the best preserved ancient amphi-theater of his kind. The acoustics is so superb that even  today,  famous singers  such as Carreras or Pavarotti perform annually. Every year international concerts and operas are performed in the Aspendos theater.
